The
American
Mardasson Memorial &
Bastogne Historical Centre
are some of the great landmarks regarding the history of "The battle of the Bulge" -
also know as the battle in the Ardennes, which took place in
December 1944 and January 1945. This is one of the most well-known battles
from World War II. The memorial and museum is located on a hill just outside
Bastogne.
