Denmark - Langeland Fortress - 4 |

Langeland Fortress was a very important Danish fortress during the
"Cold war" the followed World War II. From this fortress the Danish
military was able see all Russian, Polish and East German ships that
sailed out from the Baltic Sea via Great Belt. During the Cuba
crises Russian ships loaded with missiles was first spotted from
this fortress. The museum also displays a submarine, a minesweeper
and a few aircrafts and air force related items from the "Cold War".
