Kalø Castle Ruins - 2 |
|

The ruins of Kaloe Castle (Kalø Slot) is located on a small island
in the Bay of Aarhus. The castle was build in 1313 and was used
until approx. 1662, when it was abandoned. The site is a very
popular place for a "Sunday walk", as the nature is beautiful - and
there is a magnificent view over the Bay of Aarhus, Aarhus and the
islands of the coast of Jutland.
