Denmark - Frøslev Prison Camp - 3 |
|

Frøslev Prison Camp was build in 1943, when the German occupation forces started deporting a lot of
people (Jews, communists etc.) from Denmark. The Danish government
managed to get permission to build a camp in Denmark for these
prisoners. The Camp is almost on the
boarder between Denmark and Germany. Today the camp houses a World
War II museum, as well as a
Home Guard, UN and Civil Defence museum.
