Vis-en-Artois British Cemetery - Arras - France - World War I - Memorial - European Tourist Guide - euro-t-guide.com

The Vis-en-Artois British Cemetery & Memorial is one of the largest Commonwealth war cemeteries and memorial in the Arras area. The cemetery only had a few hundred graves during World War I, but after the war ended a lot of graves were moved to Vis-en-Artois from other smaller cemeteries in the area. Today 2,369 graves can be found here and the memorial holds almost 10,000 names of soldiers whose final resting have never been found.
