France - Arromanches D-day Museum

The 6th of June 1944 D-day museum at Arromanches is mainly dedicated to the huge artificial harbour, which was created outside Arromanches during the first days after D-day. This harbour was to supply the allied forces during the first part of the invasion, which it also did, but it was partly destroyed by a huge storm a few weeks after D-day.
