France - Mont Saint Michel |
|
|
 |
Mont Saint Michel is a unique island just of the Normandy
coast. The small island has a middle age town with narrow and very
steep lanes and streets. At the top of the island there is a
monastery and a church. During high tide it is often almost
impossible to get to the island. This small island/town is visited
by thousands of people every year - as it is truly unique UNESCO
World Heritage site.
