France - Pegasus Bridge Museum - 3 |
The Pegasus Bridge was one of the
first places that the Allied troops landed on D-day. This bridge had
to be taken to secure the D-day beaches against German attacks from
the north. This museum shows the fascinating history of the
paratrooper/glider operation. Furthermore the bridge itself - and the
area around it - show a lot of the history from June 1944.
