France - Point du Hoc D-day Battleground

Point du Hoc is one of the places, where the US Rangers fought one of the very important battles during the first day of the D-day landing - 6th of June 1944. Here the Germans were expected to have some large guns, which could be of great treat to the whole D-day operation. Bomb craters and bombed out bunkers as left as they were after the battle.
