 |
The Museum of Underwater Explorations
displays Allied equipment, which has been found in the waters
outside the D-day beaches. This can be all from helmets, over tanks
to guns from some of the ships that were sunk during the D-day
landing.

The "ships propel" of the rare
Sherman DD tank at the Underwater Explorations Museum - Port en
Bessin.
The DD tank should be able to sail on its own, but rough seas made
it impossible, so many of these tanks were lost outside the beaches.
