The
Urville-Langannerie Polish War Cemetery
is located
near the small town of
Grainville-Langannerie
- on the road between Caen and Falaise. For the most part, those
buried here died during the capture of Caen and the Polish and
Canadian
thrust southwards to close the Falaise Gap.
