Germany - Checkpoint Charlie |
|

Checkpoint Charlie was the most famous border crossing at Berlin Wall
that kept the eastern and western part of Berlin separated
from 1961 to 1989. Checkpoint Charlie was removed - along with most
of the Berlin Wall - when the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, but a small
part of it has been rebuilt next to the Berlin Wall museum.
