The Hamburg War Cemetery
is located at the huge Hamburg Ohlsdorf Cemetery (Friedhof Ohlsdorf)
cemetery in the northern part of Hamburg. At this cemetery there is
a large section of Commonwealth war graves from both World War I,
World War II and the period after World War II. Another part of the
cemetery holds the graves of German soldiers and civilians that died
during the World Wars. All in all there 2,476 Commonwealth war
graves at this cemetery.
