Castle Schloss Gottorf
is
a historical castle located in the northern part of Germany. The
castle has a very long history which dates back to 1161. As this
part of Germany has been partly Danish and partly German thru
history, the castle has a very exciting and mixed history. Today the
castle houses a number of historical museums and collections as well
as a large art museum.
