The Overloon War Cemetery contains the graves of 281
Commonwealth war casualties -
many of these were killed during Operation "Market Garden"
in September and October 1944 or during the following months.
The military museums "National War & Resistance Museum" and the
"Marshall museum" is also located in the town of Overloon.
