The Soviet Army Memorial in Svidnik is located on a hill just
next to the Dukla Pass Museum. The memorial
commemorates the many
Soviet soldiers that died during the great World War II tank battle that took
place in this area - the Battle of the Dukla Pass. This battle took
place in September and October 1944.
